Episode 12: Nadin Lorenz-Never Look Back

I’m so excited for you all to meet my friend and teacher Nadin Lorenz, who works as an online German language teacher and soon to be author! Part way through the plague, I decided to take some German lessons to brush up on that skill I spent 8 years of my life learning but that had remained tucked away (in a shoebox for those who have read AfterLIFE) for the better part of 2 decades. By saying Yes to that I’ve had many fun Saturday mornings talking about travel, art, history, culture and life in general with the amazing human being who calls herself Nadin.

Nadin has fun stories about listening to what was calling her. She was fortunate to realize early on that corporate work life was not what she wanted. What she did that was awesome was to listen to that inner awareness and take action!

That action has taken her on adventures around the world and here she shares some really helpful and useful philosophies and outlooks that made this possible for her and that have helped as she pursues her passions and dreams.

Even if you aren’t ready to give up all that you are doing, her advice on travel, exploring cultures, and life itself is so inspiring and motivating. I already had wanderlust before our conversation, and now I have it even more!

Enjoy, like, subscribe and share.

Danke Nadin!

In our episode she talks about a pilgrams trail that she recently hiked in Portugal called The Camino de Santiago. Here is a great link to that trail.

The top 5 pilgrimages in Europe

Although this lesson wasn’t specifically about learning languages we did touch on that. I listed many of the resources I use in Episode 5, with my Italian teacher Valentina!
