Episode18: Jack Davis, Peeling Away the Layers
Jack Davis has been an entrepreneur for 35 years now. During the the 18 years I’ve known him, he and I have had many great conversations that meander between very practical to more philosophical and this one is no different. In this episode Jack shares some of the lessons he’s learned and his thoughts on aspects of the American Dream he’s still contemplating. As he says, life can be like peeling away the layers of an onion…there’s always another layer. Perhaps most importantly, Jack is open to seeing the lessons and perspectives as he makes his way through life, and learning from them.
It was so wonderful, and so true to the Jack I know, that he has taken lesson in life from so many. That he seeks out those who can give him the support he needs as well as people who can give him a contrarian view. And that he has taken lessons he’s learned not only from his parents, but also his kids. Jack’s embodies a character that is full of wisdom he has collected through his life, but still has an openness and curiosity as he peels back still more layers in his life.
Please join me in this conversation and you’ll learn some things that can help you as your pursue your dreams.
Jack, I’m grateful for you and appreciate you and your friendship.
