Episode 38: The Importance of Acknowledging Our Own Wins, Big and Small

So often in life we can be our own harshest critic. Some people take pride in that...about how tough they are on themselves. I'm not proud of this, but being tough on me is something I've done my whole life. Several years ago in a workshop for the Strategic Coach I learned how destructive that is and counterproductive to us as individuals and to those in our lives. It's deflating and demotivating. If you have kids, you'll teach them to do that to themselves...as I was taught. If you have a team you manage or work with you'll destroy their confidence and create a negative, unhappy work environment.

Listen now to the secret I learned and how I'm trying to reinforce it in my life as I pursue my dreams!

Notes:

In this episode, I mention a book I read by Italian professor and author Adriano Di Gregorio. Check out his website here!
