Episode 40: Marina Krivonossova, Finding Time to Make a Difference

“In a gentle way, you can shake the world.”
Mahatma Gandhi

In the last episode you got a sneak peak of my guest Marina Krivonossova, and on this one you get to learn about her journey!

In the show notes of episode 39, I mentioned that Marina's life has already been a literal journey that has taken her many places. She was born in Russia, grew up in California, and now lives with her husband in the Netherlands! Marina has a successful career that she enjoys in Digital Social Media Marketing, and, in her free time, has recently launched a podcast called Stand up For Human Rights (Listen to it here or on Spotify!) where she interviews guests to help bring awareness to various issues around Human Rights.

In this episode she shares how an international relations course she took during her time at University of California Irvine changed the direction of her life! Over and over again this story is told through my guests. When we say yes to a date, a class, a party, a book, we have no idea how that may impact our lives! (I dedicated a whole chapter to “Yes And” in my book, AfterLIFE, Waking up from My American Dream)

The class Marina took helped her find a life purpose that is still driving her and has lead her to start this podcast where she and her fascinating guests talk about issues around human rights. I've listened to a couple episodes and have learned so much. I hope you will too!

I know you will learn from Marina's story and be impacted by her message about human trafficking. Thank you for listening and enjoy your journey!
